Mission, Vision, Values

Love God. Build People. Change the World.

Our mission is to love God, build people and change the world. At Rise Frisco, our mission is the final destination, the overall goal of our journey. Our mission is drawn directly from the mission that Jesus clearly gave the church in the Great Commission.

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” -Matthew 28:18-20

When Jesus called the Church to make disciples, He was prioritizing their love for God. When Jesus called the disciples to teach people to obey all of His commands, He was highlighting the importance of building people. Finally, when Jesus instructed the disciples to go to all nations, He was focusing their hearts on changing the world.

Love God. Build People. Change the World. Nothing less will do!

Our vision is the time bound expression of our mission and will be constantly updated as our church changes and grows. We will do whatever it takes to accomplish our mission and are unafraid to try new things to help people come to know Jesus.

Our values provide the framework for how we’ll accomplish our mission. They’re our “boundary lines” that make sure we’re running in the same direction as a church family. As we accomplish our mission to love God, build people, and change the world.
